Over the past few years, we have been truly blessed by the presence of HTG and UPA missionaries in our River South community. Their impact has been undeniable, and the spiritual foundation they helped build continues to shape and strengthen our community even now.
Please hear from Rhiannon, one of the leaders from the CARP London Team about our missionaries who have recently left after 2 years of service in our community:
‘We especially want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Sohee, Tae, and Yoshi, who have been with us for the past two years. In many ways, they helped set everything in motion. Through their constant effort, unwavering dedication, and sincere heart, they created momentum that has continued to grow even after their time with us.
Whether it was witnessing at universities, giving lectures, organising 2-day and 7-day workshops, supporting guests, helping with sermons and Sunday service, or even guiding guests through experiences like the Japan-Korea CARP trip, they continually gave their very best. Their service was not occasional. It was consistent, wholehearted, and full of love.
More than anything, what stood out was the heart they carried. Their sincerity, warmth, and humility allowed many of us to feel Heavenly Parent’s love in a real and personal way. Through their devotion and sacrifice, we also felt True Mother’s heart reaching our community here in London. Their presence was not only impactful in what they did, but in the spirit they brought and the example they lived every day.
It has truly been an honour and a blessing to have them with us. They have not only served our church. They have become part of our family, and their investment will always remain a precious part of our story.
We also want to give an honourable mention to the missionaries who stayed with us for shorter seasons, including Kishin, Genta, Victoria, Jayoung, Yumin, and Ji Soon. Even in a short time, they became part of our home and contributed to the wider foundation that has been built here.
To all of our missionaries, thank you. Your dedication, sacrifice, and love have made a lasting difference that we can truly feel. This has been your home, and you will always be part of our church family. We are deeply grateful, and we wish you all the very best as you continue your journey.’
Rhiannon D.
As a national community we are very grateful for everything they offered and the foundations that they laid here for us in the UK, and we wish them all the best with their next missions going forwards and hope to see them again one day!
