This has been a deeply meaningful and hopeful period for our North England community, with several important developments taking place across Manchester, Bolton, Sheffield, and Newcastle. Please here about everything that has been happening below…
Welcoming Our UPA Missionaries
We are delighted to share that the UPA missionaries sent by True Mother have finally arrived in Manchester and Bolton. On Sunday, they introduced themselves during the Sunday Service, and everyone was inspired by their determination to witness and their sincere desire to become leaders who can help change the world.
Their arrival fills us with gratitude to Heavenly Parent and a sense of humility at the trust placed in our communities to host . We feel honoured to support them and to grow together as one extended family, with both local 1st gen and 2nd gen members stepping up to walk this path alongside them.
We are also blessed to have AJ, the newest member, joining them for one year of full‑time mission. In addition, Gloria I. an Empower 3rd‑year graduate leader, came to help settle the team, offer support, and assist in establishing the program. Their presence strengthens the missionaries’ efforts, forming a strong international team of six.
Over the next few days, the team will be planning, organising materials, and clarifying their vision. By the end of this week, they will begin witnessing. Our hope is that this team can create a vision and plan they fully take ownership of, something they build not just by following, but by investing their hearts and we can continue to do for many years to come.
National Director Bogdan Pammer’s Visit
We also want to share the uplifting impact of Bogdan Pammer’s visit last weekend. Bogdan, our National Director, travelled to the North to spend dedicated time with members in Newcastle and Sheffield. During his visit, he held meetings and visited the homes of six families, taking time to listen, share, and pray with each home.
Members expressed deep appreciation for the care Bogdan showed. Many felt uplifted by the way he truly listened, offering support and breathing hope of a new start. His encouragement has helped energise our communities at a time when we are all stretching ourselves to support True Mother on the front line.
Moving Forward Together
With the arrival of the UPA missionaries, the commitment of our local members, and the heartfelt support shown by our national leadership, this is a moment of new energy and new beginnings for North England. We look forward to witnessing together, uniting our efforts, and creating victories as one family!
