Updated Dress Code for This Sunday’s National Service
As we prepare for National Service and the Holy Day celebration this Sunday, February 22, we want to create a holy, dignified and joy-filled atmosphere together. In line with guidance from our continental directors, Dr. Michael and Fumiko Balcomb, we kindly ask everyone to take note of the following updates to our dress code and ceremony practices:
- Let’s elevate the atmosphere of our holy day by giving special care to our dress code and by participating in the joyful and grateful sharing of food from the Holy Table
- We will recognise our newly appointed Cheonbo Victor couples, who will be wearing the ceremonial robes they received during Saturday’s online induction ceremony.
- These robes are the same style worn for last year’s CheonWon Entrance Ceremony, and anyone who has these robes is warmly encouraged to wear them for the formal part of Sunday’s celebration.
Thank you for helping us create a beautiful, respectful and spiritually uplifting environment. We look forward to celebrating together this Sunday.

Last Saturday, the Football Association announced that it had scheduled the Tottenham-Arsenal match for 4:30pm on the day of the national service.
We arranged for the programme to end at 4:30pm to ensure a smooth departure from Lilywhite Hall.
