Dear brothers and Sisters,
In this great city of Manchester in the North, home of the industrial Revolution it is fitting that witnessing has begun. It was more than 10 years ago that a FULL time witnessing team was based here. In the past from here, Christian missionaries were sent out to testify the love of Jesus across the world. But now we are testifying the Love of The True Parents in this place, as we seek to raise the spiritual environment.
The youth in Manchester have been coming up with all kinds of suggestions and designs for their new spiritual home and its a work in progress.
We had the official opening of the community peace and purpose centre operating under the FFWPU umbrella, where Bogdan Pammer FFWPU National leader gave the Grand opening speech.
We are all excited to support and work shoulder to shoulder with these precious UPA missionaries, as we witness in this most international region of Manchester. We feel God and True Mother’s great trust in us and also at the same time, their hope and expectation.
In each day witnessing they have brought amazing guests. So, we feel God deeply encouraging the team and us all.
This has been a project of about a year in the making, with many trials on the way, but if God is moving we all know that evil too will make its move and we can expect challenges. It goes to show if we are determined and we do keep our goal and promise, then God will work.
Its truly like a miracle to see the team of 6 missionaries going out together with local 2nd generation today on the streets of Bolton. God and True parents have reached out to put their hand to claim this city of Greater Manchester as their own. We look forward with the missionaries to Harvest the results of so much devotion over this last period.
We are inspired to take action as a community. Based on tears, we feel we must respond to our Mothers calling to witness and we can not think of anything more important in this critical providential time.
We are indebted to all the elders who have trusted us with this team and pledge to build a place where God’s Sons and daughters can be born and citizens of Cheon il guk ( Gods Kingdom) can be raised, for many, many years to come.
