This year, the Week of Prayer for World Peace event will be held online to allow as many people as possible to participate – from any faiths or region in the world.

Please join in and together send out prayers, meditations and heartfelt wishes for peace. Gatherings are held worldwide to celebrate the week and a leaflet of interfaith prayers and reflections is available each year. Do join in whichever way feels right for you.
Every year more people are joining in worldwide, including communities and schools in New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Germany, Canary Islands, Australia, Italy and many more.

In 2023, the Prayer Resource will be increased to 12 pages. Prayers, short poems or similar are welcome from children and young people around the world. Please send any contributions to wpwp201@yahoo.com.
New online resource for 2023
This year a special addition to the Week of Prayer for World Peace is being set up in conjunction with the Iona Community and Alignment: Interfaith Contemplative Practices. There will be a digital ‘calendar’ for the eight days of the Week and each of the days will have links to talks and other items you can check out. The talks will be given by leaders from various faith communities. More details will be on their website which you can access here.
