Pastor Elliot Y. steps down after years of dedicated service to the Wales and West communities. We extend deep gratitude for his leadership, projects, and personal contributions.
Fumiko and I wanted to add a personal note of thanks and appreciation to Elliot and Kayoung Y. for their devotion and service to the Wales, West Country and West Midlands community over the past years, and particularly for their time as Pastors to this large and diverse congregation. Whilst doing all that, Elliot also established YSP (Youth and Students for Peace) in the UK and led several service projects in Wales and as far afield as Kosovo and North Macedonia. And – one of my favourite activities – he found time to take a number of us out fishing.
These activities alone were great, but I very much appreciate Elliot’s straight talking and clear thinking. More than once he challenged me on something he felt I should have been doing, or should have been doing better, and each time he was right. How great it is to have such supporters and colleagues! We will miss Elliot as a pastor but know that he and Kayoung and young Aeris will certainly continue to be a vibrant force in our entire national movement. – Dr. Michael Balcomb.
