For many families across the UK, Family Camp is one of the most anticipated events of the year. This year’s five-day camp at Cleeve House welcomed around 160 members, friends and guests for a week of friendship, teamwork and spiritual growth.
Now in its 28th year, the camp brought together three generations, with third-generation members making up around 30% of participants. From energetic team games and sports to creative challenges and children’s activities, there was something for everyone. Four teams competed throughout the week, creating plenty of excitement while encouraging cooperation, perseverance and support for one another.
Camp life was about more than just fun. Volunteers worked together to prepare meals, care for the youngest campers and keep everything running smoothly, creating an atmosphere where everyone contributed and looked after each other.
Each day also included time for prayer, Hoon Dok Hae and fellowship, keeping God at the centre of the camp experience. Together with the beautiful summer weather and the joyful atmosphere, UK Family Camp once again offered a wonderful opportunity for families to reconnect, make lasting memories and experience life as one community.
